What’s always in your bag that you can’t live without? my mobile phone, always in a pouch and I don’t really care what the model is. I’m a creature of habit and I grow too attached to my devices. 

What got you started with this mess? My brother has always been the one in the family to have interest in photography - all the hand-me-down cameras had never appealed to me. The first inkling of this whole spiral of mad film love was when my best pals got me my red Black Bird, Fly camera for my birthday last year. Then with the Lubitel 2 and eventually starting on my inherited Minolta x-700, there was just no turning back!

What’s your shooting style? I shoot what I see in my head and it’s always about the moment. I don’t follow any set of rules because 1) I have a bad memory 2) I don’t care 3) It’s just not as fun! I shoot to have fun, I shoot to show others how great and beautiful this world can be, through the lens. <3

Cameras owned & which are you shooting most right now? Technically I haven’t paid for most of my cameras so far, with an exception to the self-fixed Gakken Flex TLR. I shoot mainly my Minolta X-700, affectionately known as my ‘sexy old man’. He needs a new lens and I’m saving up for one (or two…). My BlackBird, Fly was a birthday present which I shoot a lot more now. I also have the Vivitar UWS, a beautiful Diana F+ SnowCat from my lovely boyfriend and an Instax Mini 55i which I bought on a whim after seeing it in action one night at a birthday party.

Surely you must have a fave film to use too? Agfa Precisa 100 has been my favorite since I loaded the first roll in my BBF. But being a slide film, I wouldn’t want to use it all the time, so I use a reasonable amount of Fuji Superia 200 / 400. I prefer Kodak BW400CN for B&W shots and I’m waiting to try more rolls of Velvia cos my debut roll of Velvia 50 came out pretty adorable.
