What’s always in your bag that you can’t live without?
My 2G iPhone from the UK. I recently found out how it was like to live without it again, not enjoyable believe you me.

What got you started with this mess?
I started lomography with an inherited Red Holga 120CFN, which I shot 4 rolls in Korea which I had to wait a month to develop. I remember getting the prints and sifting through the shitty photos (And my where there a lot) but those 3-4 ones that stood out, really made an impression and the best thing is, I couldn’t even remember taking them! The decisive moment was probably the first time the 4 of us went to Ann Siang Hill for a walkabout. We didn’t know what we were doing, we didn’t know each other THAT well and we didn’t know that to expect. From that day, thanks to my 3 co-founders and closest friends (and girlfriend!<3) I’m inspired on a daily basis.

What’s your shooting style?
I’ve started shooting a lot more street photography, candid, documentation of daily life and human condition. This is probably due to some new equipment I’ve acquired. Lomo wise, I hate the eye level. It’s overrated! Look up or down, that’s where the real stuff is!

Cameras owned & which are you shooting most right now?
My dry cabinet now is kind of semi populated. I own a Red Holga 120CFN, Diana Mini, Superheadz White Slim Angel, Lomo LC-A+ (With a wide angle lens kit), Canon EOS 500 + Kit lens, Yashica Electro 35 GSN & Voigtlander Bessa R3a + Nokton 40/1.4 S.C. On a day to day basis I carry my LC-A+ around because of it’s size, but out shooting street, I use the Bessa most. That being said, I miss shooting my Holga.

Surely you must have a fave film to use too? Tricky question this one. For negative film i’m leaning toward the Kodak Portra VC/NC range, perhaps the Solaris 100 sometimes. For cross processing slide film would be the now discontinued Kodak EPR 64 a close second would be the E100GX. For B&W I’m a big fan of the Ilford Delta 100/400 as well as the HP5+ 400.

You’re a philosopher. People have come from far and wide to hear you speak. You stand on a footstool/soapbox and are only allowed to deliver one line. What is the line that will impact millions of peoples lives?
Take the red pill, the blue pill gives you wood.

Fave photo you have taken SO FAR?

Taken in the Christmas Tree at the Ion Orchard over festive season. I was pretty much lying on my back to get this one…
